2004: David Crosby was fined $5,000 for criminal possession of a weapon after a gun, a knife and marijuana were found in his luggage in New York in March of 2004.

1976: Brian Wilson made his first appearance in 11 years with The Beach Boys in concert in Anaheim, CA at Anaheim Stadium.

1975: Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron was arrested in his hotel room in Louisville, KY on cocaine charges on the opening night of the band’s latest tour.

1971: Jim Morrison, legendary singer and lyricist for The Doors was found dead in the bathtub of his apartment in Paris, apparently of heart failure. He was 27 years old.

1969: Brian Jones, former guitarist for the Rolling Stones was found dead in his swimming pool in Hartfield, England. He was 27 years old.
