2000: Neil Young & Joni Mitchell are each honored with a star on the Canada Walk of Fame in Toronto.

The Experience Music Project museum was unveiled in Seattle, WA by Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft.

1977: Keith Moon joined Led Zeppelin onstage at the Los Angeles Forum to jam on Moby Dick and Rock and Roll.

1975: Alice Cooper fell from the stage & broke six ribs in Vancouver, BC on his Welcome to My Nightmare tour.

1970: Chubby Checker & three members of his entourage are arrested in Niagara Falls, NY after police discover marijuana & other assorted drugs in his car.
