2004: Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor sues longtime manager John Malm, alleging that he had been cheated out of millions of dollars since signing with Malm’s management company in 1989.

1998: Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee was sentenced to six months in jail after being found guilty of spousal abuse.

1997: U2 caused traffic chaos in Kansas City, MO after they paid for traffic control to close five lanes show they could shoot a video for their single Last Night On Earth.

1995: After a four year courtship, Don Henley of The Eagles married model Sharon Summerall in Malibu, CA. Guests included Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen & Sting.

1992: Aerosmith donates $10,000 to MIT in Boston to fund an explicit exhibition of photographs & sculptures after the National Endowment for the Arts pulled support.

1967: Jimi Hendrix signed a U.S. record deal with Reprise Records.
