2006: Great White tour manager Daniel Biechele is sentenced to four years in jail after pleading guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter for his role in a pyrotechnics fire in a Rhode Island nightclub that killed 100 people on February 20, 2003.

2000: Napster bans 317,377 users from the popular file sharing site for illegally sharing Metallica songs.

1986: Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee marries Heather Locklear in Santa Barbara, CA. The couple would divorce in 1994.

1985: The Go-Go’s announced that they are breaking up. The group would later reform in the late 1990’s.

1968: Jim Morrison incites a riot at one of The Doors’ concerts. This riot occurred at the Chicago Coliseum in Chicago, IL.

1967: Mick Jagger & Keith Richards appear in court on drug charges in Chichester, England. They would plead not guilty & elect to go to trial.
