1993: Supermodel Naomi Campbell announces her engagement to U2 bassist Adam Clayton.

1984: Fleetwood Mac drummer & founder member Mick Fleetwood filed for bankruptcy due to money losses from his solo album The Visitor & real estate investments.

1975: The Rolling Stones announce their Tour of the Americas while playing Brown Sugar on the back of a flatbed truck driving down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

1967: Elvis Presley marries Priscilla Beaulieu at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
